My life as a whole, seemed pointless at first My shallow existence, almost felt like a curse So there I remained, like a lump on a log What use could the world have, for an insignificant frog But then something occurred , at the brink of sunrise The light pierced through the woods, it shined into my eyes I heard a beautiful voice, blowing soft through the trees It was the great Mother Nature, and she was singing to me Her words melted me like butter, on the inside and out As she sang of a life, this world could not live without She chimed the Earth's secrets, she gave my life meaning It dawned on me then, she was the light I was seeing Ashame
